A perfect week in Spain (which could be yours!)
Paella, cheese tastings, a baking workshop, shopping, vineyard visits, 2000-year old buildings, and more! Plus new dates available for you to join me.
This week, I’ve had the pleasure of leading a food trip for two of my favorite cooking professionals, Marcia Smart and Keegan McManus. We’re only on Day 3, and we’ve already eaten so well that my only concern is whether I can keep topping it day after day!
So far, we’ve eaten Spain’s best patatas bravas—made with “1000-layer” potatoes—baked homemade conchas and whipped up chamoy at Molino Manuela (my friend’s Mexican bakery), traveled to Segovia to taste local delicacies and marvel at a 2,000-year-old aqueduct (in use until the 1970s), and sampled some of the best flan, paella, and churros in Madrid.
We’ve gotten plenty of walking in, but also had long stretches of free time each day—perfect for shopping, museum visits (hello, Picasso!), and spa treatments at the Urso Hotel.
Tomorrow, we’re heading to Ribera del Duero with my friend Marta, a local from the region, for a special tasting and vineyard visit.
If you are interested in joining a similar trip, please consult the information and brief forms below and I will be in touch!

These small-group trips are designed for curious eaters, passionate home cooks, and anyone who wants to experience Spain through its food, with access to places and people that aren’t available to the general public. Group sizes are kept small (typically 3 – 8 guests) to keep the experience personal and flexible.
